From a Kitchen Table to Global Impact
Our story didn't start in a boardroom. It started from Rick's kitchen table.
In 1990, Rick Yvanovich was posted to Vietnam as a Finance Manager for BP Exploration. Four years later, when oil prices dipped, BP offered him a ticket back to London. Enjoying his time in Vietnam, Rick chose voluntary redundancy and "retired."
That retirement lasted exactly one week before boredom set in.
“Back in the day, there was little to do so I used to implement the system for my peers at other oil companies during the weekends. The rest, they say, is history.”
